Thank you for your interest in volunteering the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal. Together, we can make a difference!
Volunteer with Us
The Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal is always grateful for volunteer support. We often need assistance with childcare, household tasks, and administrative duties at our front desk. If you're interested in helping, we’d love to welcome you to one of our regular volunteer orientation sessions!
To get started, please complete the volunteer application form here. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch with you shortly. As this role is also filled by a volunteer, we kindly ask for your patience, as response times may vary.
Please note: We encourage groups to reach out to Resilience Montreal, a collaborative project of Native Women’s and Nazareth House, where volunteer group efforts can make a big impact.
We also welcome fundraisers, donation drives, and other forms of support organized on our behalf. If you have ideas or questions, feel free to contact us.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Maintenance Volunteers: Help with general maintenance and labor tasks around the shelter. Contractor experience is an asset but not required.
Drivers: Volunteers with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are needed to assist with moving items and providing other transport services when required.
